Are You Registered?

You can check your voter registration status and find your polling location with this handy tool from the Connecticut Office of the Secretary of the State…

Early Voting

Early voting begins on October 21 through November 3 at the following locations:

Need an Absentee Ballot?

Connecticut law allows you to receive an absentee ballot if you cannot appear at your assigned polling place on Election Day because of: active service in the military, absence from the town in which you are eligible to vote, sickness, religious tenets that forbid secular activity on the day of the election, duties as an election official at a polling place other than your own during all of the hours of voting, or physical disability. To receive your absentee ballot, just complete, sign, and submit the online application. Provide your name, date of birth, and town as it appears in the voter record in order to look up and verify your voter information.

Voting in Person?

Voting takes place from 6 am to 8 pm on Tuesday, November 5. You may be asked to provide identification. In Connecticut, you can show a photo ID or a Social Security card, a preprinted piece of mail (like a utility bill or bank statement), or a paycheck that shows your name and address. Review Acceptable IDs

If you are not registered to vote for the November general election, you can register and cast a ballot on Election Day at a specific location in your town (usually town or city hall). That list will be updated for 2024.
