Nick was a senior member of Governor Ned Lamont’s administration that paid down record state pension debt, delivered the biggest tax cut in state history, and grew the state’s rainy-day fund to new highs. These historic achievements have rebuilt the confidence of leading bond rating agencies, with Fitch and Moody’s upgrading CT’s general obligation bond outlook from “stable” to “positive.” As a Ned Lamont Democrat focused on economic growth and prosperity for all, Nick will be a strong voice for fiscal responsibility in the State Senate.
